I’m vegetarian/vegan/
gluten-free. Which tour should I go on?
Vegans and gluten-free guests, please take our Los Angeles Taco Tour, which is ideal for those with plant-based and/or gluten-free diets.
Vegetarians, please note that our Chinatown and Olvera St. Food Tour is not vegetarian-friendly.
What should I bring
and wear?
We recommend wearing a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes.
Bringing a water bottle is a good idea too.
I need to cancel. Will I receive a refund?
Cancellations initiated by guests must be made 24 hours in advance in order to receive a full refund.
If you need to reschedule, please contact us ASAP. We’ll work something out!
What policies should I be aware of?
A tour may be canceled with full refund if fewer than two guests are booked.
Food stops are subject to change, and the food depicted on our website may be different than what you eat—we like to switch it up!
You will need to sign a waiver in person before the tour begins in order to participate.
It’s raining. Is the tour still on?
Yes! All tours take place rain or shine.
If it’s raining, please bring an umbrella or rain poncho (we are unable to provide them), and wear close-toed, waterproof shoes.

Where do I park / how do I get there?
Chinatown & Olvera St. Food Tour:
We highly recommend taking public transit to the tour. Take Metro Rail line B (red), D (purple), or A (blue) to Union Station, which is a 6-minute walk from our starting point. If you’re driving, parking lots and garages are the better choice, as metered parking is capped at 1 or 2 hours, and the tour is 3 hours long. There is some free parking in Chinatown, but it tends to fill up early in the day and stay that way; use the SpotAngels app to find it. Please check all parking signs before leaving your car!
Los Angeles Taco Tour:
We highly recommend taking public transit to the tour. Take Metro Rail line B (red) to Vermont/Sunset station, which is a 7-minute walk from our meeting point. If you’re driving, park on residential streets within these generally permit-free boundaries: north of Sunset Blvd, east of Vermont Ave, west of Talmadge St, and south of Franklin Ave. This will keep you in the general vicinity of our route. SpotAngels is a good app to use to look for parking. Metered parking isn’t a great choice, as it’s capped at 30 minutes to 2 hours, and the tour is 3 hours long. Please check all parking signs before leaving your car!
Silver Lake Food Tour:
Metro bus lines 2 and 4 run down Sunset Blvd and service the neighborhood. There is some unpermitted street parking in residential areas; SpotAngels is a good app to use to look for parking. Metered parking is not a great choice, as it’s often capped at 30 minutes to 2 hours, and the tour is 3 hours long. Please check all parking signs before leaving your car!
Hollywood Food Tour:
We highly recommend taking public transit to the tour. Take Metro Rail line B (red) to Hollywood/Vine station, which is directly across the street from our meeting point. If you plan to drive, parking lots and garages are the better choice, as metered parking is capped at 30 minutes to 2 hours, and the tour is 3 hours long. There is minimal, scattered free parking in Hollywood, but it tends to fill up early in the day and stay that way; use the SpotAngels app to find it. Please check all parking signs before leaving your car!
